Choose Your Networks
Different platforms can be used to introduce your work to various audiences. It is important to have your personal brand seen on multiple social networks to increase visibility and take advantage of the different mediums that each network offers. Each platform holds a great opportunity to continually update your audience with new material and show how you are improving and expanding your knowledge in the field. LinkedIn is a great place to start as you can share your portfolio directly to marketing peers and employers. Twitter is another great option to announce your website and any updates that you have made. Instagram can be the perfect way to showcase the visuals of your work to one of the world’s largest audiences.
Optimize Your Content
You will need to constantly update your site and make improvements in order to appear on search engines and stay relevant to your audience. This is where strong Keywords come into play. Use appropriate keywords related to your industry that you know potential employers will be searching for.
Engage With Your Audience and Encourage Cross-Promotion
If you are receiving feedback about your work, make sure to actively respond to your audience. This is the best way to build a strong following and make the audience more invested into your content. Don’t be afraid to ask your audience to promote your portfolio and other projects to their network. Make sure to always ask for feedback!
Promoting Your Marketing Portfolio: Infographic

I decided to transform the content written above into an infographic in order to catch the eyes of viewers and present the information in a fun and easy-to-read manner. The power of an infographic lies within its ability to help others understand specific concepts with the use of visual aids. With up to 65 percent of the general population being classified as visual learners, it is crucial to present the information that you want to share in a way that can be easily digested. It is well known that the average attention span has decreased over the last few decades, with the rise of short form video content further contributing to the problem. For this reason, information must be fun and easy to understand, or many viewers will not pay attention. With the ability to share these visuals across social media, I believe that the infographics will play a bigger role in how we learn in the future.
